Hello, dear brothers and sisters in Christ! I've just returned from a delightful visit to Michigan. I have many happy memories, including a rare visit with Steve Bautista and his family when we were both in Bay City playing for worship at St John (me) and Trinity (Steve).
I love the Builders For Christ and was allowed to sing for them and congregation members at Zion near Mount Pleasant. I was amazed at how much they got built in just the 9 days the project had been underway!
I'd never seen Traverse City and truly enjoyed the scenery and nice folks there at Prince of Peace. While playing for worship at Grace in St Joseph, I stayed with Jon and Sharon Ott who introduced me to the wonders of sunsets on Lake Michigan which is just a few minutes from their lovely home.
There is not enough space or time to mention all of the kindnesses and happy moments of this trip as I got to meet so many of the people in our church body. Thanks to all for your generosity, kindness and love for me. I praise God because of you!
